We are a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We believe Jesus Christ is the only Savior for sinners. Our faith centers on Jesus, who is the very Son of God and also fully human. Because Jesus lived a sinless life and suffered and died for the sins of the world, God declares us right with Him and forgives all our sins. Through this good news of Jesus, we seek to trust in Jesus who gives us the power to live for Him and serve our fellow man.
We are dedicated to serving families. We believe that the Church is God's institution of helping individuals grow in their faith, and we share our abilities with individuals and families of every size, race, and background through encouragement, education and unconditional acceptance. We truly attempt to create an atmosphere that encourages “one big family,” providing opportunities for spiritual growth and support to all. In addition to our available ministry opportunities, we regularly host evenings of fellowship designed to bring our family together.
Caring for others is a trademark of Christians and St. John Lutheran Church is committed to insuring that care is consistently provided for all. We enjoy sharing, talking, eating, and socializing with each other. We consistently seek opportunities to meet as a group to worship, visit, and offer support to one another.
