What We Believe

St. John Lutheran Church is part of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

We believe Jesus Christ is the only Savior for sinners. Our faith centers on Jesus, who is the very Son of God and also fully human. Because Jesus lived a sinless life and suffered and died for the sins of the world, God declares us right with Him and forgives all our sins.  Through this good news of Jesus, we seek to trust in Jesus who gives us the power to live for Him and serve our fellow man.  

We admit that we are sinners, but by faith in Christ we continue to receive forgiveness and we look forward to the joy and perfection of heaven after this life ends!
