Prayer Requests

Of the many gifts the child of God treasures, communicating with God is of great importance. God both invites and commands us to pray, to bring our needs, concerns, fears, intercessions, thanksgivings, praises, etc., to the throne of grace. Jesus personally modeled prayer for us during His public ministry and gave us the Lord’s Prayer as a way of bringing all of the Christian life in prayer to our Father in heaven.

The Bible strongly affirms the value of prayer: The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. (James 5:16). Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you (John 16:23).  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Phillipians 4:6).  And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me (Psalm 50:15)One of the many great gifts we are given, through Jesus example, is the ability to communicate with God.  God desires for our prayers (desires, fears, needs, requests and accolades).  We believe in the power of prayer as the Bible states: "For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them." (Matthew 18:20, NIV).
